In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering investigations which are conducted to improve Transport Safety. Your previous experience gained working in an operational front line or government regulatory environment will see you succeed in supporting two Directors within the investigations team of the Office of Transport Safety Investigations (OTSI), providing operational business support to facilitate the delivery of business operations to agreed standards.
You will also assist in coordinating business processes for the investigations branch, ensuring alignment with corporate and team strategies and initiatives.
Please note this is a Fixed Term maternity Leave cover for up to 12 months.

About you
The role will see you use your understanding and experience of applying legislation and provide you with an insight into investigations of all modes of public transport and the safety considerations.
You are a natural self-starter, with demonstrated experience improving business systems and processes to meet operational requirements. You are a natural collaborator, with a can-do attitude and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to share information with key stakeholders to drive operational improvements will equip you well for this role.
