In this role you will work closely with the Project and/or Safety team to organise, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and document safety and training through assisting in the implementation of the region's development plans and strategies.
Specifically, you will:
- Promote a HSEQ Excellence culture that ensures proactive, continuous improvement and development of industry best practice for the business systems across the project
- Provide support and guidance to employees with respect to the aspects of the businesses Safety, Environmental, Quality, and general systems compliance and ensure implementation and continual improvement
- Provide guidance, direction and leadership that results in good governance and addresses the risk associated with the project/region
- Minimum Diploma in OHS or equivalent
- Diploma of HSE Auditing and/or Lead Safety Auditing Qualification
- Cert IV Workplace training and assessment
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator training
- ICAM lead investigators training
- Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
- Current first aid / CPR training
- 4 years+ relevant industry safety working experience
- Ability to co-ordinate HSE personnel on multiple small size or < $100m
projects - Proficient in Ms Office.
- Able to work productively and cooperatively in teams and
independently as required - Good communication skills
