The Job:
This is an exciting role for an experienced Data Analyst who is passionate about systems digitisation with a strong focus on analytical outcomes within a safety environment. This role will be based from our stunning Head Office at Franklin Wharf in Hobart and will be the data product developer for Tassal’s Digital Safety System. As a member of our safety team, working closely with the Head of Safety and WHS Managers, you’ll drive the creation, implementation, and support of a new cutting-edge data products that leverage Tassal’s best-of-breed Digital Safety System.
This is a great opportunity for a person with a positive attitude, who is keen to analyse, design, and implement Tassal’s Safety-based digital and data-based system.
You:
Essential
- Strong understanding of SQL, databases, and reporting tools;
- Deep knowledge of Data Visualisation tools (Power BI and Tableau highly desirable);
- Proven ability & initiative to discover insights within diverse datasets from across a vertically integrated business;
- The skills to work directly with our safety & operations teams to provide actionable decision making tools to improve our Safety decision making and focusses
Highly desirable:
- Demonstrated experience in breaking down complex problems and projects in a fast-changing environment;
- Technical business analysis skills;
- Some knowledge of development and usage of a Low Code App solution (Power Apps highly desirable);
- Outstanding organisational skills and be a commercially focused self-starter;
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills; and
- Ability to think on the move and work within dynamic timeframes.
