The Role
The pivotal position of Safety, Health & Compliance Officer is responsible for workplace Health and safety systems, which encompasses training and development, document control and other compliance areas across the company. 4 days a week 9-5 or 5 days a week school hours.
Responsibilities
Working with the administration team, key duties will be:
- Maintain and conduct inductions
- Organise and capture employee training qualifications, in Safety Champion software system
- Annual contractor and supplier reviews
- Water sampling and investigation
- Manage chemical inventory using RMT ChemAlert software
- Coordinate and facilitate Emergency Management Plan, facilities and team
- Ensure annual inspections completed to meet compliance and insurance requirements
- Quarterly internal WHS inspection audits
- Maintain calibration registers
- Review documents and upkeep our controlled document system.
- Manage compliance with different standards and requirements and assist with audit preparation
- Facilitate Quarterly Manager’s meeting
- Provide admin support

- Reliable and able to take initiative and multitask
Safety knowledge, an administrative background, attention to detail, organisational skills and intermediate computer skills are essential. Wine knowledge and standards that relate to the wine industry is desirable.
