Working with our client Main Roads WA in Albany, we have an opportunity for a Safety Health & Wellbeing Advisor for a 12 month fixed term contract. The role is offered as a residential opportunity with a balanced mix of office and site based work.
This position will see you involved in the following activities:
- Deliver safety awareness inductions and other specific safety related training (as needed)
- Support and mentor regional staff in safety policy and practices
- Hazard Identification and Risk Management
- Review third-party safety management plans, practices and documentation.
- Records management using MRWA systems and software including TRIM, INX (EQSafe) and Risk Management protocols/guidelines
- Undertake site inspections and audits
- Site investigations and reports with regards to incident management
- Site experience in construction and/or maintenance activities
- Formal Safety experience
- Sound understanding of the Worksafe regulations
- Training of safety quality systems
- Mentoring and coaching experience
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Internal Auditor
- Alcohol & Drug Testing
- Lead ICAM
