The Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced client focussed individual to join our team in the role of Sales Account Manager.  This role will allow you to showcase your skills in relationship management to deliver sales growth to meet or exceed budgets.    Working closely with an Account Co-Ordinator as support, actively engage with your clients to identify opportunities through your solutions based sales approach.

As a senior member of the team, you will play a key part in working towards our strategic initiatives set for this Financial Year and striving for excellence in Customer Satisfaction. 

Your key duties include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies and account plans for allocated clients
  • Building robust client relationships
  • Developing and delivering sales bids, new product demonstrations, detailed monthly and other ad-hoc reporting
  • Preparing job briefs utilising multiple systems and effectively manage jobs through the business within agreed timeframes

To be considered for this role, you must be able to address the criteria below:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with responsibility for managing Client Relationships
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and proactively identify new business opportunities 
  • Demonstrate a positive, pro-active approach to task management within a small team 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with experience in delivering reporting and presentations to clients at all levels
  • High level keyboard skills and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • A quick learner with ability to apply new skills and work across a number of specialised applications
  • Demonstrated business acumen and good financial awareness
