Troy Animal Healthcare is a world-class manufacturer of animal health pharmaceuticals with over 65 years of experience in providing quality products to veterinary professionals, pet owners and livestock producers. Almost all of our products are 100% Australian-owned and made. We are currently looking for a motivated, self-starting Business Analyst to join our Sales and Marketing Team.
About the role
This role involves gathering and analysing data to assess business performance, business cases and proposed projects, as well as supporting the Sales and Marketing Team and other stakeholders in generating insights from various data sources to help focus resourcing, maximise growth opportunities and deliver customer-centric solutions.
Key Result Areas include:
1. Sales reporting and analysis for Australia, New Zealand and Export
- Internal and external sales and other data management.
- Develop, standardise and maintain reporting suites for various stakeholders.
- Support annual budget process.
- Manage annual pricing process.
- CRM system ownership, including maintenance and reporting.
2. Project Management
- Business Intelligence System Implementation: evaluate and recommend software for data integration within Troy. Manage the implementation and maintain the system.
- Work closely with other project teams to support their project plans.
3. New Business Development
- Research and evaluate new product and market expansion opportunities.
What we are looking for
You will love number crunching and have a passion for data analysis. Your skills and experience will include:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, economics or marketing.
- At least 2 years’ experience in data or business analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are a must, as you will be creating reports from multiple systems and analysing and presenting the data in Excel.
- Experience with SAP Business One will be very highly regarded.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Exceptional time management and organisation skills.
- Ability to work multiple projects, to prioritise tasks and to work within deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to build presentations and project plans.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in team.
- Previous Power BI, Phocas or other business intelligence system experience would be highly advantageous.
- Experience in Animal Health or similar fields would also be highly regarded.
