Aquaduck and Southern Cross Tours are seeking a full time Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
This role primarily involves providing sales, marketing and administrative support across both businesses. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing, Digital Manager and Operations teams and will also liaise with our partners within the industry. Knowledge of the Tourism Industry and work experience is essential for this role.
Skills/Experience/Attributes:
Minimum 2 years experience working within the Tourism Industry within a sales/marketing/reception or customer service based role in a tourism attraction, tour or experience.
Computer skills – Email, Microsoft Suite, Canva
Experience with REZDY booking system
Experience with OTA backend systems ie Viator, Get Your Guide, Experience Oz etc
Experience in social media organic content posts using META platform Instagram and facebook. Tiktok experience highly regarded.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent time management and organisational skills, able to manage your own workload.
Comfortable in both one on one and small group presentation delivery.
This is a dynamic role, and no two days will be the same. You will actively contribute to the team, and we are looking for someone who can work well individually as well as collaboratively. In addition to completing tasks as directed, we are looking for someone who can show initiative and identify opportunities or tasks that require attention.
You will be required to travel locally, domestically and internationally as required.
This is a full time role based at our Molendinar office, however we are happy to discuss a .8 (4 days) workload for the right candidate.
Please note we are looking for someone with experience specifically in the Tourism Industry, not the hospitality industry.
