Job Description
The Sales and Reservations Administrator will serve as a point of contact for customer queries regarding charters, processing related paperwork and maximizing sales for Cumberland Charter Yachts, Luxury Yachts Whitsundays and its suppliers. In addition to booking charters, you will also be responsible for administration duties and clerical support to the team, including but not limited to reconciling and filing invoices, checking in and greeting customers and maintaining a sense of professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Meet and greet customers in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Responding to enquiries in a timely manner and taking necessary measures to convert in to bookings
- Maximising sales for upcoming charters by offering and booking third party suppliers and products
- Accurate entry of customer information in to the CRM
- General office administration duties including but not limited to ordering stationary, scanning, filing, processing invoices
Qualifications
- Experience in the travel industry or a Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management
- Two (2) years of related industry experience in a similar role Attributes
Skills and Attributes
- Local area knowledge of the Whitsundays and Whitsunday Islands and what activities are available to charterers to enhance their holiday experience
- Knowledge of boats and boat terminology essential
- Sailing experience highly regarded

- High level of customer service and willing to go above and beyond
