About the Role:
The Sales Associate position, based in Melbourne, is a pivotal role within the business. Reporting to the Sales Director, the role involves working closely with the sales teams and Senior Pre-Sales Architects in both Sydney and Melbourne offices. The Sales Associate will play a key role in supporting their revenue and profit targets, with a clear pathway for progression into an Account Director role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quotations and Proposals:
- Generate quotes and proposals
- Assist with tender processes
- Conduct sales handovers
- Solution Documentation:
- Collaborate with pre-sales architects to prepare solution documents
- Develop proposal, bill of materials, solution summary, and supporting literature
- Drive On-Going Revenue:
- Facilitate vendor renewal activity
- Engage with existing customers and suppliers for ongoing revenue generation
- Partner and Vendor Engagement:
- Work closely with current and potential vendors to build sales pipeline
- Develop strategies for customer engagement
- Database and CRM Clean Up:
- Ensure accuracy of contacts and customers in the ConnectWise database
- Familiarisation of their Partner Portals:
- Log and track opportunities within partner portals (Poly, Logi, Yealink, Telstra, Microsoft)
- Customer Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key customer staff
- Act as a trusted advisor, seeking opportunities for improvement
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement within the business and customer environments
- Plan and implement improvement activities
