AddressYarra Yering is one of the oldest and most beautiful vineyards in Victoria’s Yarra Valley. Established in 1969 by Dr Bailey Carrodus, the 1973 vintage saw production of the first vintage of Dry Red Wine No. 1 and Dry Red Wine No. 2.
Our Tasting Room is nestled amongst 29 hectares of vineyard steeped in Australian wine history. We offer our guests an extensive seated tasting of some of the Yarra Valley’s most iconic wines.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, wine-loving person to join our Tasting Room team on a casual basis one or two days per week. The purpose of the role is to provide our guests with an exceptional wine-tasting experience in a relaxed, refined setting.
Key Responsibilities:
~Maximise the visitation experience in the Yarra Yering Tasting Room and ensure all visitors receive a premium experience executed with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
~Act as a brand ambassador, hosting tastings with a high degree of professionalism, displaying superior wine, brand and regional knowledge.
~Assist with Tasting Room operations including opening and closing procedures, cash management, bookings, stock management and ensuring a high standard of presentation and hygiene are being adhered to.
~Packing and despatching of online and telephone orders ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
