At ATOM Modular, we specialise in innovating and manufacturing modular commercial facilities for various industries. Our new Gisborne factory produces over 20 modules per month, and we're focused on building a team of top performers who share our values and passion for what we do. We’re now on the lookout for an experienced ‘Sales Consultant’ to join us and work with us to take our sales efforts to new heights!

WHAT’S ON OFFER?

  • Competitive Salary on Offer: $100,000 - $140,000 + Super + Bonus + Car Allowance
  • Role Specific Bonus: Performance-based bonus paid as a percentage of sales gross profit, if KPIs are met.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will play a pivotal role in driving our client’s sales success, collaborating closely with your team, which includes two other SALES CONSULTANTs. Your focus will be on securing clients of all sizes, ranging from "minnows" to "sharks" and focusing particularly on "whales" with sales greater than $150k. Your core responsibilities will include driving sales, meticulously crafting tailored solutions, and ensuring adherence to building standards. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll prioritise strategic client engagement and relationship-building efforts, especially within the mining sector, local councils, educational institutions, and commercial entities.

Key areas of responsibility and accountability:

  • Lead sales success to achieve your sales targets and objectives.
  • Generate high-quality leads and follow up promptly.
  • Qualify leads and create tailored proposals to meet client needs.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as required.
  • Ensure compliance with building standards and regulations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to management.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

  • Maintain a minimum of 10 sales connections per day.
  • Achieve a sales target of $5 million annually.
  • Maintain a high conversion rate of leads into sales.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a great ‘people person’ with the ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders. Ideally, you'll have a background in construction or a related trade, with a customer-obsessed mindset and strong technology skills, including proficiency in using CRM tools like HubSpot. 

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a construction or trade-related industry.
  • High attention to detail in design and solution creation.
  • A customer-centric approach with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
  • Strong technology skills, including proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of building standards and regulations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
