Job description:
The OpportunityAs a Genesis Sales Consultant you will facilitate the Genesis purchasing experience by providing a high level of service to our customers. Whether it be in store, Genesis to You or at a sponsored event, you are the critical touch point between our customers and the Genesis brand. You will capitalise on these relationships in order to achieve commercial outcomes.
If you are passionate about sales and looking to progress your career in the automotive industry, this is the role for you. We are currently looking for Sales Consultants to work out of our state of the art, newly renovated Genesis Melbourne Showcase in Prahran.
About the Role
Initiate and maintain relationships with potential clients with regular follow ups, and build rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale
Convert enquiries (instore, web and phone) into leads and opportunities by understanding their needs and interests, and match them to the most appropriate car.
Understand the characteristics, capabilities, and features of all cars, and provide the potential customer with detailed features, advantages & benefits, including comparing different competitive models
Take customers on test drives and demonstrate vehicle features
Follow up on all leads and opportunity es and convert them into purchasing transactions
Assist customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed, maintain a high level of communication, and conduct the handover of cars to customers
An accurate maintenance of the CRM system with up to date information on all customer matters
Collaborate with team members on marketing events, sales campaigns and promotions
Assist with the setup of showroom and promotional displays
Meet set targets and KPIs set by management including test drives, conversion rates, sold deals, and deliveries
Be reliable and must be able to work a rotating roster across 7 days, including public holiday
Passionate: You have a passion for the automotive industry and strive to deliver the best customer experience in all areas of your work. Previous experience in automotive or luxury sales is desirable.
Go-Getter: You are driven by sales targets and are always looking for new opportunities to make your next sale.
Professional: You are able to follow sales processes and procedures. You are friendly, positive and professional in your approach to customers.
