Opportunity in Kingaroy offering workplace variety with a broad scope of duties including assisting clients with product selection in-home & in-store

The Opportunity:
Internal blinds, shutters and exterior awnings.
Become South Burnett’s specialist as you acquire product knowledge and consult with clients to find the best blind and colour to suit their needs.

Kingaroy Floorworld is a locally owned and operated family business backed by the combined professional advice and knowledge of decades of experience.
The business services customer needs across the South, North and Central Burnett regions supplying a wide range of flooring and window products to suit residential and commercial applications.
What You Will Do:
Duties will be diverse in response to customer demand and will include:
  • The delivery of excellent customer focused service.
  • Assisting with in-store customer enquiries.
  • In-home and in-store consultation with customers.
  • Accurately measuring and providing quotes.
  • Completing the sales process and documentation
  • Placing product orders.
  • Scheduling installations.
  • Assisting with installations.
  • Assisting in other areas of the business as required.
  • Compliance with all safety, policy and procedure standards.
What You Will Need:
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
  • A commitment to quality customer service.
  • Experience in a sales-oriented role.
  • A willingness to learn and maintain currency with product knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to accurately measure.
  • Sound computer and administration skills.
  • The ability to work effectively without supervision.
  • A strong team commitment.
  • A current “C” class driver licence
Although not essential requirements, preference will be shown to applicants also able to offer any of the following:
  • Experience in a similar sales role.
  • Experience within the Construction Industry eg Carpentry, Cabinet Making or Building etc.
  • Experience with home renovations or home handyperson skills.
  • Familiarity with power tools.
