Job Description: We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sales Consultant to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the power sports and marine industry, and a drive to provide exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate Honda Marine products.
- Conduct demonstrations and provide details on specifications and features.
- Negotiate sales and process financing and leasing applications.
- Maintain a strong knowledge base of our product lines, including features, benefits, and promotions.
- Assist in maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, including product displays and promotional materials.
- Participate in ongoing training and certifications offered by the dealership and manufacturers.
- Follow up with potential and existing customers to foster relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive, power sports, or marine industry.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and convey technical information effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and strong computer skills.
- High school Year 12 required; further education in sales, marketing, or related field is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of power sports and marine vehicles is highly advantageous.
