Job Summary
As a Sales Coordinator, reporting to the Customer Success Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating the sales activities for our cutting-edge SaaS machine learning platform as well as our Applied Science team. Your primary responsibility will be to manage daily sales operations, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure seamless communication within the sales team and with other departments. In addition, you’ll support the broader sales efforts to deliver high-quality machine-learning solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities
Sales Coordination:
Coordinate daily sales activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing sales reports, and managing calendars for the sales team.Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure sales materials are up-to-date and aligned with current offeringsDocumentation and CRM Management:
Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Prepare and process sales orders, quotes, contracts, and other documentation.Track and manage the sales pipeline, providing regular updates to the sales team and management.Customer Interaction:
Serve as a point of contact for customers, providing information and addressing inquiries.Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.Gather customer feedback and communicate it to the relevant departments for continuous improvement.Data Analysis and Reporting:
Generate and analyse sales reports to identify trends, track performance, and support strategic decision-making.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to the sales team.Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve sales processes and workflows.Implement best practices for sales coordination and ensure compliance with company policies.Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in a sales coordination role, preferably within the SaaS industry.Strong understanding of CRM systems and sales tools (e.g.HubSpot, Salesforce).Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.Interest in machine learning and the mining industry is a plus.Capacity to manage diverse responsibilities within project delivery.Job Benefits:
