About the role:

We have a great opportunity to lead the Jurlique Sales Business across Concept Stores, Department Stores, National Pharmacy, Travel Retail Partners and Wholesale Partners to achieve sales and strategic objectives. Drive Net Sales through strong retailing, customer experience, therapy and in store execution. Represent the interests of the customer and stores internally and the interests of the business with external partners. Create a High-Performance Team through creating a coaching culture with clear direction and people plan to ensure succession plans and key talent is retained.

This is a Hybrid position. You will perform your duties from the Sydney Office and remotely from your place of residence.  It is expected that you work in the office 3 days per week and some regular travel interstate is required.  

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Operations:

  • Develop and formulate business plans and growth strategies to that meet our sales objectives within our Concept Stores, Department Stores, National Pharmacy, Travel Retail Partners and Wholesale
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review channel performance against clearly defined KPIs
  • Manage, coach, and lead our State Managers to ensure achievement targets by store by conducting regular sales reviews, assessments, and coaching days to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of sales
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with our sales partners and ensure that Jurlique’s interests are well represented and sales targets are achieved
  • Ensure the Jurlique Brand Point of Difference and Customer Service delivered is exemplary
  • Ensure all stores and locations are profitable to the business. Measure and track all key KPIS and vendor management in concept stores.
  • Leading all stakeholders and the project management the staged renovations of our new retail store design for our Concept stores and selected Department stores.
  • Maintaining strategic relationships internally with our ANZ Ecommerce & ANZ Marketing team, collectively identifying sales & marketing initiatives to drive increased sales across doors and online, whilst enhancing customer experience.
     

Education:

  • Oversee the development of the Training and Education Content calendar in line with ANZ Marketing calendar and Global Learning & Development calendar.
  • Develop and lead the Training & Coaching Team to deliver Jurlique Brand Point of Difference and Customer Service delivered is exemplary.
     

Spa:

  • Responsible for the Spa & Treatment business to develop key sales strategies to maximise sales, profitability and market share in all channels.
  • Develop and manage existing relationships and identify new business relationships within retail and spa channels
  • Create and maintain sustainable sell in and sell through strategies that meet & exceed our sales objectives with our Spa partners.

New Business Development:

  • Support the Business Development Manager with identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and review strategies to expand the brand's presence in the market. Support the current Brand Strategy & Key Business Objectives within our various channels. Ensure consistency on delivering over budget performance and agreed KPI’s.

Leadership:

  • Responsible for the delivery of PDR (Performance Development Reviews) for all direct reports.
  • Influence, inspire and guide your team as the role of a leader requires modelling a desired behaviour and letting others see the desired values in action.
  • Focus on team development by supporting training session and actively participating and leading relevant workshops.
  • Have regular informal catch ups, feedback and coaching sessions and one on ones with your team to keep communication open and setting performance and behaviour expectations.

About you:

Knowledge & Skills

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working across a Retail environment
  • Proven experience in managing Spa Accounts & a Treatment business
  • Proven and consistent history of meeting and exceeding sales budgets
  • The ability to demonstrate exceptional communication skills
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast pace environment
  • Identifies more critical and less critical activities and tasks; adjusts
  • Influence, inspire and guide your team as a true leader
