The Role:
As our Sales & Event Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Cultivate strong client relationships and manage the end-to-end event sales process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Create bespoke food and beverage menus that exceed client expectations and showcase culinary excellence.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution, including coordinating staffing, logistics, and vendor management.
- Stay updated on industry trends to inform sales strategies and offerings.
- Utilise CRM tools to track client interactions, sales opportunities, and pipeline management.
- Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize strategies.
- Represent Olio’s Fine Food at industry events to expand the company's reach.
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive client engagement.
- Lead weekly sales meetings and provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Oversee invoicing and payment processes to ensure accuracy.
- Mentor and guide the event sales assistant for high service standards.
- Drive email marketing campaigns to boost sales and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams for event coordination.
- Uphold the brand's reputation for excellence and professionalism in all interactions and communications.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality, events, and/or F&B management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management skills with an ability to prioritize sales and event demands.
- Passion for the food and beverage industry with a keen eye on industry trends.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Efficient with technology, particularly in event management software and Microsoft suite. Design software skills are an advantage.
- High attention to detail with finesse and refinement in everything you do.
