Is this the role for you?

This role is based in Melbourne and is to support and realize growth of the Hybrid Workplace portfolio. As a Sales Executive for Hybrid Workplace, you will grow and manage sales for Meeting Room Solutions, Unified Communications and Workspace Management solutions, delivering transformation outcomes and experiences for new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

The aspect of the role, your responsibilities will include:
Business Development
Plan approaches and pitches for new business through positive engagement with the broader sales teams and to new customers
Qualify opportunities, manage the preparation of quotes and related documentation to progress through the sales cycle.
Identify and understand customer business issues, use cases, and proactively provide solutions that are mutually beneficial to Ricoh and the client
Develop proposals that are focused on client's needs, positioning a broad range of Audio-Visual, Unified Communication solutions, Meeting Spaces, Visitor Management, Workspace Management and Utilisation, Desk booking, Room Booking, Digital Signage, Interactive Technology, Unified Communications, Managed Services, and other key solution sets
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, by working with active Ricoh customers, prospecting potential new customers, Audio-Visual consultants, real estate developer, Office Fit out and designers, facility management, AV/IT and Strategic partners to cultivate new business opportunities and new business wins.
Forecast sales targets, maintain pipeline activity, update customer details and complete key reporting
Deliver allocated sales target
Customer and market engagement
Research and develop plans for growth to position Ricoh as a leading Hybrid Workplace and Managed Services provider in the industry.
Liaise with Ricoh as a vendor and 3rd party vendors and suppliers around product offerings, discounts, certifications, and negotiation
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
Collaboration
Consult with clients and Ricoh Sales Executives on industry trends and best practices related to services being provided and resolve client escalations to expectation.
Work with Marketing, Vendors, and Distributors to develop leads that deliver a growing pipeline of new business leads
Operate and work collaboratively with other sales portfolios including the other Digital Services portfolios and Workplace Sales executives
Maintain solid knowledge of the industry, including technical solutions and business trends that affect the AV/IT industry

To be successful in this role:
The suitable candidate will ideally possess the following Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

3+ Year’s quota carrying Audio Visual Solutions, Workspace Management, Unified Communications sales with business development experience.
Strong professional network
Strong awareness of Audio-Visual and Workspace market in order to understand and assess the business viability of service offerings.
Successful sales targets achievements and strong desire to over-achieve revenue goals
Track record of business/account plan development and execution
Experience in handling both business and technical decision makers in customer organisations
Strong sales skills including business case justification, negotiation and closing
Proven sales pipeline management skills and cadence
Transparency and assertiveness during sales process coordination
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong time management and organisational skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent customer service and presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail
