Jape Furnishing Superstore, a leading furniture store in Darwin NT, is looking for a result driven, passionate, experienced, and resilient candidate to be the driving force behind our dynamic Sales Team!

SALES MANAGER

This role includes:

• Business development to continuously increase and maintain market share and actions to achieve sales and gross profit budgets.
• Leading and inspiring your team to achieve store sales and KPI targets.
• Develop high performing team culture to provide outstanding customer service
• Working closely with the Store Manager to ensure store standards are maintained.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales particularly in retail industry
• Prior track record of managing and leading sales team is preferable.
• Result-oriented & teamwork skills.
• Ability to train, coach and mentor and encourage staff development.
• With passion and ability to nurture a sales culture focused on targets and high performance
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to effectively manage the challenges of sales volume, margin and market share growth
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literate and knowledge of MS Excel essential
• Exceptional customer service, negotiation and relationship building skills.
• Available to work on weekends and public holidays.
