- Learning about the team and the individuals, see where we need to improve and what good practices could be implemented across the company
- Supporting our production team in developing, and communicating a clear and compelling product strategy; and ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives
- Work closely with the production team to guide the product development process, ensuring that the product is built to meet specifications and deadlines
- Helping individuals grow in their hard and soft skills
- Championing a company’s efforts to train and coach developers, project managers, and testers to improve their technical and non-technical skills
- Designing and implementing programs for team development
- Working closely with an organization’s leaders and People and Culture department to identify training needs and create strategic solutions for improving skills across an entire company
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
The right person for this role:4+ years of experience as a manager, lead, or mentor,2+years of experience in an Internet marketing industryHas demonstrable experience in designing and implementing development programs, conducting training needs assessments, and evaluating program effectivenessIs knowledgeable of the best talent development practices, adult learning principles, and performance management concepts,Can help project team win by assisting them in creating overarching project goals and encouraging them to overperform,Has a strong understanding of business operations and strategy, with the ability to align talent development initiatives with the organization’s goals and objectives,Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
