To help us with this vision we now have a unique opportunity for a weapons-grade Sales Manager with the energy, ambition and drive to take ownership of sales in our Victorian and South Australian markets.
About the role:
The objective of the Sales Manager is to ensure that:
- Lyre’s products are being represented in the marketplace in line with the brand guidelines.
- Sales opportunities are identified and followed through, expanding the company's position and increasing rate of sale.
- The role requires understanding and embracing of the strategic imperatives and implementing key business priorities in your day to day business.
Overall, you will use your proven experience and influence to drive brand growth, availability and visibility within your region. The duties of this stand alone role encompasses all the usual suspects you would find in a successful sales position including achieving KPIs and targets, managing on and off premise accounts, providing specialized advice to customers, effective stock management, and coordinating marketing activity . This hands on role does not have any direct reports, which means the incumbent can take full credit for the endless opportunities and successes that can only be found working within a kick-ass, hyper growth category.
About you:
With 3+ years sales experience (preferably in FMCG, liquor or hospitality sectors, you will be comfortable roll up those sleeves and act with initiative and empowerment in a fast paced, fun, dynamic team environment. You’ll demonstrate solid work ethic, strong communication and influencing skills, meticulous attention to detail and a tenacious follow-up game. This role works as part of a close-knit ANZ regional team so it is expected that you are an active and optimistic contributor and a motivated team player.
Additionally, there are some non-negotiables for this role. This role would need to be based in Melbourne and you will need a valid driver’s license with access to motor vehicle to adequately get yourself around. The ability to travel interstate ooccasionally will also be required. It also goes without saying that you must have full working rights in Australia.
