About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking a self-motivated and highly organised individual to join our team as a Sales Manager. In this position, you will share the responsibility for the performance of the Sales divisions focused on the Sydney market. As the Sales Manager, the key focus will be managing the performance and development of our sales team while driving profitable business growth.
Key opportunities for this role include:
- Achieving Budget & Revenue Targets: Ensure that financial goals are met through effective sales strategies and management.
- Increasing Sales Revenue: Focus on growing existing accounts and expanding channel distribution partnerships to enhance revenue streams.
- Exploring New Sales Opportunities: Actively seek and capitalise on new business prospects across Australia and in overseas markets.
- Developing & Executing Sales Action Plans: Create and maintain comprehensive sales plans to guide activities and achieve objectives.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Compile and analyse market data to inform strategic decisions and enhance competitiveness.
- Meeting KPIs: Consistently achieve key performance indicators set for sales and business development.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal teams, distribution partners, and key stakeholders.
- Customer Relations: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and servicing the accounts.
To be successful in this role you will likely have:
- Industry Experience: Proven background in the Capital Equipment or Industrial sectors, a strong understanding of material handling equipment is preferred.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated ability to successfully penetrate and grow industrial markets throughout Australia.
- Customer Focus: Ability to effectively communicate and engage with stakeholders at all organisational levels, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate and close deals that benefit both the company and its clients.
- Sales Professionalism: Polished in sales techniques and presentation, projecting professionalism and credibility.
- Proactive Approach: A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, capable of driving initiatives independently.
- Integrity and Drive: Display integrity, trustworthiness, and strong personal drive to achieve targets and uphold company values.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
