The Role:
- To support both the MD and the Sales Heads in Australia and New Zealand in managing the complete sales lifecycle i.e. planning, goal setting, researching, contacting, qualifying, consulting and selling;
- To create, implement and execute a customized sales plan supporting the long-term sales strategy; aligning the sales strategies with corporate revenue targets;
- To offer corporate support to the sales team in the areas of product introduction strategy, market intelligence and consulting on such, sharing of marketing success stories and developing a market risk analysis;
- To anticipate and report market opportunities due to identified trends in market conditions;
- To cooperate and develop profitable relationships with market related associations including offering full active “on-the-ground” support in related trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences;
- To control and steer sales activities mainly via CRM/Salesforce by using reports, identifying and tracking hot projects, developing campaigns, monitoring the lead-opportunity-order process. CRM/Salesforce management to be internalized in order to maintain up-to-date and relevant data, and prove to the sales team the supporting capability of the CRM/Salesforce system;
- To monitor and report lost orders; track market technologies and maintain awareness of competitor strategies and their market capabilities and threats;
- To strategically implement the Krones Sales Excellence project to Key Account customers;
- To contribute to the effective management of the departmental budget for most especially inter alia events management, promotion and the implementation and monitoring of lean management principles.
Do you have what it takes:
- Marketing Degree preferred;
- 5+ years experience in a Marketing Analytics role;
- CRM/Salesforce knowledge and Experience;
- Proficient in MS Office especially PowerPoint & Excel;
- Experience in SAP / Salesforce is desirable;
- Analytics and numeracy skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to be persuasive;
- Demonstrated self-starter with planning, prioritisation and organisational skills;
- Strong and orderly administrative competency;
- Experience in initiating and execution of sales excellence programs;
- Experienced in conducting/handling/interpreting market research surveys.
