About the Role
Do you live and breathe sales, and maybe even DIY home improvement? Do you love being busy, working hard in passionate teams, recommending opportunities, and having your ideas supported? We need you to help our business continue strong growth, bringing fun, excitement and fresh ideas is a must!
As a Sales Merchandiser, you will work 48 hours per month calling on 3 key stores in Mackay. The successful applicant will report to the Queensland State Manager.
- Replenish shelves and merchandising according to planograms
- Replenish all off location displays & erect promotional displays
- Ensure stock levels are maintained weekly and during seasonal/promotional periods
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key team members
- Build a rapport with customers and assist with upselling
- Provide training on all new tool releases to team members and customers
- Competitor activity
- Identify new sales opportunities
- Communicate daily with State Manager
- Product ordering for off locations
Position Requirements
- Strong time management skills and the ability to plan and organise.
- Ability to build strong relationships with a focus on effective communication with all team members
- A strong focus on merchandising standards
- Intermediate IT skills
- A current driver’s license
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- 48 hours per month
- Flexibility is important
- Some heavy lifting will be required
