Sales Representative | Account Manager

Storage Ideas is one of Sydney’s leading suppliers of warehouse racking and industrial shelving. For over 50 years, we have offered a complete service in the design, supply, and installation of storage solutions.

An opportunity exists for an experienced and self-motivated Salesperson to join our team. We are looking for someone who is technically minded with a strategic business development sales approach and strong relationship building skills. 

Key responsibilities include; 

• Maintain existing relationships with customers
• Seek out new business and follow up on new leads 
• Attend site visits with clients to determine their requirements 
• Taking detailed site measurements
• Provide detailed written quotes in a timely manner 
• Follow up on quotes in a timely manner
• Solving complex technical challenges as they arise and working alongside other departments  
• Working within a team environment 
• Providing detailed specifications to the Drafting team for them to create CAD drawings 

As the right person for this role you; 

• Have experience in business to business solution selling
• Have good commercial attitude and strong desire to forge close relationships with customers
• Are procedure organised and self-disciplined
• Have understanding of measurement and sizing
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Are ambitious and highly motivated, with a proven track record and the desire to achieve
• Have mechanical aptitude (a trade qualification would be advantageous but not essential)
• Knowledge in basic Construction would be of assistance 

You will be dependable, ambitious and highly organised with a proven sales track record. 

Additionally, working rights in Australia and a current driver’s licence is required for this role.
