Sales Representative / Account Manager

This role is best suited to a hands-on team player who loves a small, busy team environment.  Day-to-day you will be responsible for a range of sales and marketing activities, working closely with management and internal marketing teams.  With 70% of new business coming from inbound sales enquiries, you will develop and maintain a customer and prospect database with specific tasks including:

• Responding to and following up on sales enquiries
• Conducting online software demonstrations to prospect clients and seeing these enquiries through to close of sale
• Onboarding clients and troubleshooting issues if needed
• Developing and maintaining relationships with industry partners 
• Conducting competitor and market research 
• Working closely with internal marketing teams to develop ideas and presentation activities to support sales activities
• Seeking out and attending networking events
• Monitoring and reporting on activities and providing relevant insights to management 
• Assisting in general customer support and administrative tasks

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

• 2+ years of Account Management and/or Sales experience, ideally B2B
• Any previous experience demonstrating software would be highly regarded (but is not essential)
• The ability to work in a team setting however with minimal supervision
• High level of computer competency including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Any prior exposure working in the property or building compliance fields would be beneficial.

The salary guide is $75,000 - $85,000 + Super and this is a full time office based position in Chatswood however some flexibility to work from home may be negotiated after 6 months.  The location is very close to the train line and parking may be able to be offered (TBC).
