Qualifications & experience
- Proven experience in sales or similar role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Broad knowledge of GET and wear plate, and their application in underground or open cut mining environments.
- Customer focused with a passion for building relationships.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Generating Leads: Identify and prospect potential customers, qualifying leads through site visits, networking, referrals and cold calling.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and providing personalised solutions.
- Meet Sales Targets: Meeting or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators. Have a proactive approach to prospecting, effective communication and persuasion skills, and the ability to close deals efficiently.
- Sales & Budget Management: Provide information to National Sales Manager regarding product movement forecast and market changes.
- Provide Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to customers throughout the sales process and beyond. Facilitate smooth order processing and delivery, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market Research & Feedback: Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to provide valuable insights to the company. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
