THE ROLE
The Sales Leader is responsible for owning the revenue target of a office-based outbound Sales Team and executing on the sales strategy to support and grow the business. Your focus will be on driving sales and assisting your team of 5 in exceeding their KPI’s through your leadership, motivation and coaching skills. You will work closely with the wider Sales team and other leaders, and will report directly into the ANZ Corporate Sales Manager.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Successfully manage, lead and motivate the phone-based Sales Team in order to achieve sales and margin targets, through execution of the channel sales strategy
- Effective pipeline management
- Prepare sales reports including sales results and analysis, forecasting and budgeting
- Supporting the outbound Sales Team to convert deals via phone-based coaching and development
- Assist in the development and nurturing of key client partnerships
- Provide customer and competitor insights to Marketing/Management to enable a better understanding of our customer and optimise opportunities for business growth
- Identify and recommend areas for cross functional process improvement
- Work collaboratively with department functions, including liaising closely with the operations and Customer Care to deliver on customer experience.
- Support company initiatives and perform other reasonable tasks as may be required by management to meet business requirements
- Contribute to building and nurturing a workplace culture which values safety and professionalism, in support of company values
- Successfully manage, mentor and motivate a team of direct reports that are remote and in person.
- Ensure interstate team members are properly supported and integrated into the team.
- Build effective and inclusive team culture utilising existing and yet to be defined tools.
- Conduct regular structured performance and personal development 121s with direct reports.
- Identify training requirements and facilitate delivering them
- Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure the team receive the benefit of the role.
- Work with Head of Sales and Corporate Sales Manager to organise Sales Meetings for all team members.

- Experience managing multi sales channels

- Knowledge/understanding in forecasting, budgeting and strategic processes
- P&L experience (desirable)
