Key Accountabilities
- Maintain and enhance Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud solution and soon to be implemented Marketing Cloud solution.
- Design and develop new Salesforce functions within existing solutions in collaboration with the Salesforce delivery team to ensure quality outcomes in existing and new solutions.
- Enhance and evolve Salesforce solution(s) using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Ensure that the customization and configuration of Salesforce meet business requirements, including workflows, process builder, validation rules, and custom objects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Code reviews to ensure code quality and adhere to best practices.
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using APIs and web services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configuration and customization.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency and performance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (Deploying code using Azure DevOps), from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Key Requirements
- Salesforce Developer certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II).
- Thorough knowledge and experience in Salesforce platform, particularly in Sales Cloud.
- Proven experience of Apex, Triggers, Classes and Lightning Web Components, API Web Services and Salesforce declarative programming techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.
Highly Desirable
- 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce design, development and implementation with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization.
- Prior experience working with ACT Government Salesforce ecosystem / environment.
- Experience with Salesforce integration using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (Mulesoft), and ETL tools.
- DevOps experience, including use of Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
- Experience in the S-Docs AppExchange App
- Ability to work in an Agile Hybrid environment.
- Salesforce certifications will be highly regarded.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
