Evolve Scientific Recruitment are currently searching for a Sample Officer to join with one of our largest clients, a global leader in the pharmaceuticals industry. Our client is looking to bring aboard a highly motivated individual for a 12-month contract at the Broadmeadows site with potential to extend.
The Opportunity:
The Sample Officer will be responsible for sample collection from the production process both proactively and reactively, logging samples in lab management systems, tracking shipments. Will also support lab investigations and experimental design/ execution, report writing and document management through GMP document systems. This is a full-time position Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM.
This position will be responsible for:
- Supporting collection of routine and non-routine samples from productions
- Gowning, entering plant, communicating with operations to collect samples
- Log samples into LIMS
- Global stakeholders will do the testing
- Basic Engineering / Scientific analysis
- Return samples from customer complaints
- Establish potential causes in collaboration with staff
- Science OR Engineering Degree
- GMP experience
- Proficient with computer systems (will be trained in doc management systems)
- Experience within lab or engineering space 1-2 yrs
- Background in Pharma preferrable otherwise food / beverage with testing and analysing background
