Remuneration: AHP2 ($86,950 - $100,729 p.a. + 11% Super) / PO2 ($86,950 - $96,223 p.a. +11% Super)Role DetailsThe Department for Child Protection is currently seeking an Aboriginal Sanctuary Practitioner and a Sanctuary Practitioner to join the Therapeutic Residential Care unit on a full-time term basis.The roles are responsible for:
- Ensuring that features of cultural safety and responsivity is integrated and embedded into the training and implementation of Sanctuary model into Residential Care.
- Contributing to the development of technical competence of Residential Care staff in relation to the Sanctuary model.
- Assisting Residential Care staff application of a cultural lens to their daily practice and in the development and implementation of departmental policies, programs and organisational activities at the local level.
- Providing professional guidance and direction on complex cases drawing on the principles and practice of Sanctuary.
- Preparing reports in relation to audits and quality improvement initiatives relating to the implementation of Sanctuary.
