Sap Abap Programmer

Our QLD Govt client is currently seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Programmer with specialist skills to support a number of business-critical projects and in business as usual (BAU) activities. This role will be based in the Brisbane CBD with some WFH flexibility.   It is not a pure remote position so we cannot consider interstate candidates unless you are looking to relocate.   The initial term of the contract is 12 months with the strong likelihood of 2 x 1-year extensions. 

The SAP ABAP Programmer will possess the following skills:

1. 10 Years plus ABAP experience in SAP ECC6 EhP8, FICO, CATS, PS, SD, and exposure to EP, WebDynpro, OData and Cloud integration. 
2. Demonstrated experience in the support, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of functionality within systems in a large and diverse organisation.

To be considered for this role you must be able to provide written evidence of the following:

• Demonstrated ability to conceptualise and analyse alternatives and to develop SAP ABAP programs in SAP version ECC6, with a minimum ten years’ experience in ABAP programming.  Knowledge of FICO, CATS, PS, SD, EP, WebDynpro, OData and Cloud intergration functionality.
• Demonstrated ability and experience in the development, testing, implementation, and documentation of systems within a large and diverse organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team achieving a high standard of professionalism and performance.
