About the role
The position will support the Area Managers & Area Supervisors in the day-to-day activities in Cleaning, Tamworth, Newcastle Port Macquarie areas, NSW
Role summary:
Reporting to the Area Manager to ensure the standard of cleaning and laundry meets the client’s expectations as well as meeting all Accreditation requirements. Contribute to the ongoing safety and wellbeing of all Team members.
- This position will be Full time, Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends which will be paid at weekend rates
- Applicant must have a current Australian Driver's License (Company Car plus fuel card provided.)
- Travel will be required including overnight stays with accommodation covered
* The successful applicant must provide a current Federal Police Check certificate or be willing to apply for one prior to commencement and must have received at least doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine.
Skills and Experience:
- 2+years' experience in a similar role.
- Aged Care cleaning experience is preferred,
- Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls with the Area Manager & Area Supervisor
- Send daily reports to Area Manager on tasks completed.
- Exercise excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Train new staff Members when required.
- Train, mentor and motivate team members as and when required and/or directed.
- Be available to attend occasional meetings with the Area Manager
- Undertake and ensure the safe use of chemicals in accordance with Catering Industries Health and Safety Manual and SDS’s
- Understand and implement quality control techniques.
- Ensure a high quality of work and attention to detail is undertaken.
- Adheres to schedules, budgets, policies and procedures, including health and safety policies and documentation.
