Sap Data Migration Lead - Sydney

Ayan Infotech are looking for an SAP Data Migration Lead for a long term contract job opportunity in Sydney.
Due to the nature of the work involved, we can work with candidates holding unrestricted work rights in Australia.
Title: SAP Data Migration Lead
Type: Contract (start asap to 3 Oct 2024, may extend)
Location: Parramatta, NSW
Required Skills and Experience:

• Take lead role in Data Migration design for assigned objects
• Involvement in loading data for trial conversions, dress rehearsals, go-live and support the testing team and business teams with respect to migrated data including tracking and resolution of defects
• Work with other project team members to achieve a successful Data Migration
• Take responsibility in performing mapping between sources systems and target systems
• Take leadership role in creation and completing Data Migration design documents
• Provide support to other Data Migration team members in activities including data cleansing, extraction, transformation, loading, reconciliation, business verification
• Support the testing team. Including tracking, resolution and reporting on Data Migration defects
• Provide status updates and feedback to Data Migration manager as required

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in BODS as a Data Migration Analyst
• Experience in Migration Cockpit (Migrate Your Data),LSMW and ABAP is highly desirable
• 5 years Data Migration experience
• Involvement in at least 3 full SAP implementations as a Data Migration Technical Analyst
• Involvement in at least 2 full S/4HANA implementations
• Significant Data Migration experience in 1 or more of the following areas: Finance, Purchasing, EAM or HR/Payroll
• Significant relevant experience working closely with the business and have the ability to engage with the customer source systems owners
• Experience in defining data rules and cleansing, extraction, transformation, reconciliation activities, and knowledge in data stewards or similar tools
• Significant relevant experience working closely with target system functional teams to produce data mappings, transformation rules and validation rules based on target system business rules
• Demonstrate previous experience and the ability to take end-to-end ownership for the successful migration of data for particular objects and have the ability to support and advise other team members with respect to these data loads
• Highly desirable - experience in public sector projects.
