- Data Migration Lead for HCM program, migrate multiple locations onto new HCM Platform consisting on Tanda, iChris and Workday
Immediate need for a Data Migration Lead to work on a large transformation in a well known food retailer.
This is a hybrid environment, WFH as well as in their Sydney CBD offices.
In the role you will;
- Define the strategy for the Data stream
- Be accountable for the overall Data Migration of employee data from existing T&A / Payroll platforms onto Tanda, iChris & Workday
- Define and document the data extraction, transformation and upload processes across Tanda, iChris & Workday
- Ensure best practice handling of confidential / sensitive data and that any data break risks are mitigated at all times
- Laise with project SME's and at times end customers to understand existing data sources and structures
- Define data timelines in line with overall project milestones and dates
- Responsible for ensuring data cleanse, governance and controls are implemented in the lead up to migration processes
- Responsible for the reconciliation, validation and checking of data uploaded into our systems
- Lead on the data catch up processes during cutover
Ideally you will have;
- Experience in HCM, familiar with the data content and requirements for this type of project
- Proven experience in Data Migration in a similar capacity
- Strong SQL and ETL technical skills
- Experienced working with complex distributed databases and data sources
- Deep understanding and application of data management concepts
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Can describe data management and technical information to business people
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally worked in a Retail or similar environment
