DXC – SAP Enterprise Solution Architect - ANZ focus
An exciting opportunity exists to join our thriving SAP Architecture Practice as a Principal SAP Enterprise Solution Architect. This role serves as a senior strategic leader in presales and growth within our ANZ business, assisting DXC clients with their SAP strategy and IT roadmap planning.
  
The SAP Enterprise Architect is primarily responsible for simplifying complicated enterprise strategy to enable our clients to harness the power of SAP.  This role also contributes to a team of specialist SAP architects to help define DXC solution offerings required to assist our customer requirements and is expected to share information and learnings with the broader architecture team to help transfer knowledge.

This role will also support the DXC SAP Practice Pre-Sales Solutioning team and Delivery Architects team achieve the practice success objectives, associated with growth, team utilisation and revenue. It is anticipated that this specific role will have a strong New Zealand client focus, but will work across ANZ and support DXC regional requirements
  
The ideal candidate will have an overarching knowledge of SAP offerings with the ability to pull together and architect solutions that will take our clients business to the next level. It will also be advantageous if the candidate has strong SAP functional project or presales experience, and high quality presentation skills for facilitating and demonstrating solution offerings, delivering IT strategic road maps and defining targeted system-based solutions to meet clients requirements. The candidate also needs strong commercial acumen, as this role will assist with project scope definition, deliverables definition, acceptance criteria and project estimates for inclusion in statements of work and customer contracts.

This is also a client facing role so excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  
Essential Job Functions

• Serves as a senior solutioning specialist for a consulting practice with regional or global scope; primarily responsible for selling and solutioning the delivery of the organization’s professional architectural services.
• Supports market strategies and plans and executes them to develop profitable projects.
• Supports DXC develop SAP Public Cloud solution offering and pre-sales content to support new clients with their journey to more standardised SAP solutions and adoption of best practice solutions
• Supports DXC SAP solutioning consultants within the practice and shares knowledge to engage the capability across solution and architecture teams.
• Has oversight responsibility for key client engagements. Ensures that solutioning and architectural aspects of those engagements meet current requirements and achieve appropriate future proof targets as appropriate.
• Builds strong business relationships with current and prospective clients. Contributes thought leadership and gains genuine understanding of client business. Establishes and articulates innovations and growth opportunities for clients and the company.
• Influences decisions and project direction at the executive level.
• Develops compelling proposal strategies and win themes; participates in sales pursuits.
• Ability to lead evaluation activities and business case development for DXC clients
• Presents to large size groups of key decision makers at the executive level; develops and communicates vision and purpose, encourages contribution and support from others. Contributes to proposal orals and national or regional events.
• Contributes towards the solution analysis and scope definition of new pursuits and projects and assists DXC commercial and legal teams establish appropriate definition wording to clearly and concisely define the DXC scope, deliverables and customer responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred
• Ten or more years of industry or client relationship experience
• Ten or more years of relevant consulting experience

Other Qualifications

• Strong background in SAP Supply Chain Management, SAP Financials Management, SAP Asset Management, SAP edge products or other SAP modules, products or solutions
• A cross industry experience in systems design and development
