The Opportunity:

As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of SAP Finance support and project services to Visy and Pratt Industries. From operational support to project management, you'll be at the forefront of driving efficiency and excellence in our SAP Finance functions. Reporting to the Service Lead - SAP Finance, this role will be based at our office in Coburg, Vic.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Provide operational support to ensure 24/7 availability of SAP Finance functions for Visy & Pratt Industries.
• Providing core application finance functional/technical support to business partners.
• Supporting various internal/external applications integration to SAP Finance systems
• Active involvement in month end closing activities related to Finance module in SAP
• Manage response and resolution times, ensuring swift and effective support.
• Utilize project management frameworks for efficient project delivery within Visy's ITSM tool.
• Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement practices within the SAP Finance team.
• Collaborate with the Service Lead – SAP Finance to enhance delivery to customers.
• Demonstrate leadership in SAP Finance IT functions, aligning services with business objectives.
• Develop a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and SAP Finance offerings.

What you’ll need to bring to the role:

• Must have Accounting Educational background to perform this role.
• Significant hands-on experience within SAP FI/CO and specialized in OpenText- VIM, CO-PC,CO-PA,FI-AA,PS, Fiori, Concur with exposure to cross-functional integration with core SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Strong experience with financial supply chain management, customer service management and manufacturing processes with large enterprise applications.
• End-to-end support coverage of SAP Finance related solutions.
• Ability to make informed decisions on complex business and technical issues.
• Team player with self-reliance and the ability to work independently.
• Understanding of applications/software development life cycle.
• Research and analytical skills demonstrated ability in business analysis.
• Experience in delivering IT technical service and process in line with ITSM methodology.
• Proficient in Project Management from ideation to closing.
• Manage Business Process reviews, analysis, plan, and implement improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
