ABOUT THE DIVISION
Shared Services Division (SSD) is a provider of shared services, providing corporate transactional and technical services to 15 Australian Government entities.
As one of the hubs providing shared services to the public sector, the SSD directly supports public sector productivity. Through the delivery of shared, standard and sustainable technologies and processes, the Service Delivery Office (SDO) contributes to effective and efficient organisational management.
The SDO is enabling clients to take targeted actions jointly, within their own organisation or in the shared service provider, to mitigate risk with a focus on minimising cost and maximising benefit.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
An APS 6 SAP Fiori Developer in the Environment Management team will be required to perform the following duties:
- Design, develop, and customise SAP Fiori applications based on business requirements and Fiori design guidelines.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into effective UI designs and workflows.
- Develop and maintain SAPUI5 applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible UI designs for various devices and screen sizes.
- Utilise SAP Fiori Elements to rapidly create Fiori applications with consistent design and functionality.
- Integrate SAP Fiori applications with backend SAP systems.
- Oversee and assist with UI5 version upgrades as needed to ensure system stability and security.
- Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to UI development and Fiori application performance.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP Fiori and UI5 trends, best practices, and technologies to continuously improve development processes and deliver innovative solutions.
