As part of our SAP Core banking operations team where you will be driving, engineering, managing, and supporting the SAP systems on public cloud.
In this role, you will be driving and continuously improve the Operations process that includes Governance and handover of SAP systems which are migrated from On-prem to AWS cloud. You will also be responsible for the delivery process of applications to public cloud through continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines which include building, testing and deployment capabilities of these pipelines.
You will also be working on application cloud and infrastructure design team during the migration delivery of the SAP systems.
We’re interested in hearing from people who
Have solid hands-on experience on SAP HANA administration
Are knowledgeable investigating and monitoring production workloads to help optimise Cloud costs
Are confident taking the lead of ASPs in supporting the existing SAP Cloud platforms with the service management capability
Pride themselves on setting up and troubleshooting complex deployment and environment issues
Are constantly engaging with project teams to understand upcoming requirements and provide technical guidance
Pride themselves on going above and beyond in improving quality and performance of the production systems
Are knowledgeable supporting the development of SAP scaffolds for use by delivery team building applications for public cloud
Are confident working with senior stakeholders, with the ability to challenge when required
Tech skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;
SAP Basis, SAP Netweaver, SAP HANA is knowledge/experience is mandatory
Strong knowledge and experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP
OS Admin (RHEL / SLES)
CI/CD Tools like Teamcity, Jenkins, Octopus, Artifactory or GitHub
Proficient skills in Powershell or other scripting languages would be added advantage
SAP on AWS – Speciality Certification is preferred
