An exciting opportunity to join our Patient Administration team as a part time receptionist on our Main Information Desk for 3 days per week. Mondays 0800 - 1630Thursdays and Fridays 1100 - 1930
What you'll be doing
The Main Information Desk Receptionist will be providing a vast range of services that provide an efficient and friendly information service to patients, their families, general public and other members of staff. This position will also be assisting wards by providing remote relief cover in Patient Management updates, admissions, transfers and discharges. This position will be working collaboratively with Patient Management Administration team for data reconciliation as well as using system base applications such as PayWay Virtual Terminal to collect and manage customer payments. This role will also be distributing meal tickets for overseas patients and families.

- Demonstrates high standard of verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with an understanding and interest in providing a high standard of service and assisting others.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suites and Patient Management system.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the operational demands of the Hospital.
