The College is seeking to employ a Registered Nurse to work on a casual basis (during term time only).
Qualifications & Experience
- Current APHRA registration - Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Maintain a current Level 2 First Aid Certificate, annual CPR Certificate, asthma management and be anaphylaxis trained
- Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) - Employee Status or ability to obtain
- Extensive knowledge of first aid procedures and practices
- Knowledge of child and adolescent common illnesses
- Previous experience working specifically with children and/or adolescents
- Experience in First Aid for sport (desirable)
- Previous experience working in a school environment (desirable)
- Knowledge of Synergetic (desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate with students and other members of staff
