Location: John Therry Catholic College, Rosemeadow
John Therry Catholic College is a Catholic co-educational school situated in Rosemeadow in the city of Campbelltown and part of the Diocese of Wollongong. Established by the Marist Brothers the College maintains a strong Marist charism, tradition and affiliation with Marist Ministries. The College provides a wide curriculum to approximately 1006 students as we strive for academic success while offering many sporting, cultural and extracurricular opportunities. A permanent full time position commencing 30 January 2024 (4 weeks annual leave per year).
The role of the School Technology Support Officer provides services including IT operations within the school. Broadly the role involves administration, support function representation, maintenance and improvements in the Computer and IT services within the school.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- Supportive of the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.
- Ability to provide technical support, problem-solve and troubleshoot hardware and software infrastructure to ensure continuity of service for staff and students.
- Proven ability to provide IT Helpdesk support over the telephone, in person, and via remote access tools including the use of a ticketing-based support system.
- Ability to represent the school in an honest, ethical and professional way.
- Knowledge and experience of: Microsoft/Apple/Google/MDM and Adobe Products.
- Ability to problem solve and be adaptive to the daily needs of the College.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
- Familiarity with SIS System
- TAFE Certificate IV or equivalent.
- Experience providing IT support within an Educational environment.
- Previous experience working within a collaborative team environment.
- Support for College Assemblies and Events
