About you

The successful applicant will join an energetic Inclusive Learning Team focused on providing quality Catholic Education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student-centred, flexible and challenging, working 28 hours per fortnight (2 days per week), 8:30am to 4:00pm, Friday with flexibility for the second day. This is a temporary, part-time position for Terms 3 and 4 2024. 

To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate;

  • a commitment to supporting the spiritual and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Marist tradition
  • a commitment and interest to support students with special learning needs
  • knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) register
  • a commitment to excellence in pedagogy
  • an understanding of the needs of students who require individual and classroom support
  • the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • excellent communication and IT skills
  • a willingness to be involved in the College’s co-curricular activities.

You will have attained:

  • familiarity with the Mac OSX, COMPASS, Risk Assess and Google Applications 
  • current First Aid qualifications
  • possess a sound knowledge of current WH&S legislation and guidelines
  • SCS Employee ID number or a commitment to Register to work in SCS.
