The Role
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to Council’s Recreation Team as the Schools Liaison Officer. In this role you will be responsible for delivering quality customer experience for all school enquiries and bookings for Council's active and passive parks. You will also oversee the bookings for all of Council’s passive parks.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Provide an end-to-end booking service for Council’s sports facilities and passive parks for regular and casual use by hirers. This includes overseeing the application process, managing insurance requirements, issuing permits and creating invoices and processing refunds for fees and associated bonds.
Coordinate school athletics carnival bookings for Crest Athletics Stadium, Kelso North and Campbell Athletic Fields.
Maintain a contact database of schools in the community.
Build effective relations and networks to ensure harmonious, productive and mutually beneficial outcomes for Council and users or Council facilities.

You will have:
High School Certificate or Equivalent
Class C Drivers Licence
Demonstrated capacity to deliver a community facility and/or open space and recreation facilities booking service.
Results driven and customer service focused.
Knowledge of sport and recreational industry.
Demonstrated computer skills in Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel.
Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required.
The salary range for this opportunity commences at $67,370 (Grade D, Step 1) + 11% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience. Click here to access salary information for all steps within the designated Grade.
