Position Information

The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.

About the Role

The Community Liaison Officer supports schools in building vibrant, tolerant and harmonious school communities. The Community Liaison Officer works to support school communities in the development of approaches to improve social, emotional, health and educational outcomes for students.

Describe a situation where you were able to effectively support a parent or family with an issue and how your communication skills and interpersonal skills were able to lead to a successful outcome for the parent or family and the school? (300 words maximum) 

Targeted Question 2

How do you plan and deliver tasks to meet deadlines? Please give an example of a recent project that you were part of and its impact. (300 words maximum)
