About you
As a Science Teacher you will be innovative, highly skilled and passionate. You will play a vital part in developing and implementing effective lesson plans to ensure high-quality student learning and engagement.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- knowledge of and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School
- ability to develop students' interests, abilities and coordination by way of creative activities
- ability to guide discussions and supervise work in class
- ability to prepare, administer and mark tests, projects and assignments to evaluate students' progress and recording the results
- ability to discuss individual progress and problems with students and parents, and seek advice from Student Counsellors and senior teachers
- ability to maintain discipline in classrooms and other school areas
- ability to participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and workshops
- ability to liaise with parent, community and business groups
- ability to maintain class and scholastic records
- enthusiasm to be part of a school with a focus on building community.
You will have attained:
- minimum two years full time teaching experience
- a Tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.

Competitive Salary of $91,413 - $135,977 excluding superannuation (depending on experience) - payscale is reflective of the applicants teaching experience and in accordance with the Sydney Catholic Schools Secondary Work Practices Agreement 2020-2021.
