About You
As a Science Teacher, you will be an innovative, highly skilled and passionate educator with a distinct focus on holistic education.
To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate;
- a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members,
- a commitment to academic excellence, and demonstrated knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices that encourages academic excellence,
- ability to teach Stages 4, 5 and 6 Science,
- commitment to continual improvement and effective use of data to differentiate the curriculum and address the learning needs of all students,
- knowledge and understanding of the current curriculum and NESA requirements for Science,
- ability to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning,
- interpersonal skills with parents, students and staff,
- demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team.
Desirable:
- ability to teach Religious Education or another subject
You will have attained:
- a Tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.
