Halcyon Knights is looking for an experienced a Scrum Master for a prestigious state government department based in Adelaide CBD on long term contract, you will play a vital role in leading and facilitating Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver critical solutions.Your responsibilities will include coaching, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow Agile methodology. To ensure the delivery of programs and projects are relevant and impactful, you will engage across the Digital Programs structure, other senior agency stakeholders, industry, and research sectors.ABOUT THE ROLE
⦁ Determine, plan, and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items, including goals and priorities, to ensure the delivery of significant ICT-related projects to meet agreed performance objectives.
⦁ Deliver and lead scrum events and meetings, including facilitating and implementing robust and disciplined decision-making processes.
⦁ Manage progress and performance of scrum teams and recommend and deliver systematic improvements, with a focus on value creation. This includes ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for scrum teams.
⦁ Establish and foster strategic partnerships, encouraging a culture of collaboration and delivering expert consultancy for the effective delivery of a range of significant ICT projects.
⦁ Lead, plan, and manage the delivery of demonstrations and product/system testing of ICT-related solutions.
⦁ Provide technical leadership, consultancy services, and expert advice into the development of policies and models of government business processes and influence planning and change management processes within government to ensure strategies are implemented in accordance with the government’s strategic intentions.
⦁ Lead and manage the establishment of comprehensive consultative processes with key stakeholders and foster collaboration to develop strategic directions consistent with the government’s approach to ICT.
⦁ Lead, guide, and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, model service excellence, and champion continuous learning to build team capacity and capability and continuous improvement in product and service delivery.ABOUT YOU
⦁ Proven experience in a Scrum Master role.
⦁ Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent.
⦁ Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
⦁ Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
⦁ Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
