About the role:

We are looking for an Experienced House Supervisor to join our team.
As the SDA Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our SIL homes in Burswood and Gosnells to ensure effective service delivery.
This will include participant documentation, weekly/fortnightly stakeholder reporting, monitoring the house, medication and client finances and all aspects of compliance, ensuring it aligns with expectations and legislation.
Your exceptional leadership and people skills with a natural ability to listen, learn, influence, and build effective relationships with the key stakeholders will be significant to your success in this role. 

About You:

You have experience leading a team of 5+ support workers in a NDIS residential setting.
You have a minimum of certificate IV in Disability or relevant qualifications and extensive and proven experience leading a house in a NDIS residential setting.
With your ability to build rapport with participants, stakeholders, management and employees and strong written and verbal communication skills, you can guide support workers in the requirements of their role, provide timely information and support to the team, maintain daily operations of the house and ultimately provide quality support to our participants.
Additionally, you have experience working with behaviours and can observe triggers and apply de-escalation strategies along with personal care experience.

You have:
• Experience in a similar role, providing leadership to employees
• A strong understanding of the needs of people living with a disability
• Experience with complex and challenging behaviours is a must.
• Willing to support our customers with personal care and domestic duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing.
• Capacity to meet physical requirements of the job.
• Current driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Current NDIS Worker Screen.
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• Current First aid and CPR Certificates.
• Current Police Check.
